Comments from a dad on a party for a 7 year old –
“Many thanks for arranging this for Harry’s party. He and his friends had a fantastic time, they were really engaged and enjoyed themselves. Thanks are also due to (the instructor and assistant) for putting up with the noise from 15 excited boys! They really managed them very well. It’s definitely recommended to friends. ” (Scan down for photos) November 2015
Thanks to this mum who obviously felt this was a success –
“We booked Awesome Engineers for a 6th birthday party and they were absolutely fantastic. We had 18 children and although I loved the idea, I was slightly concerned that the party might not be energetic enough for some. I needn’t have worried though – Melvyn and Lucy engaged the children immediately and they were all engrossed – girls as well as boys. It was great for me as I didn’t have any tears or injuries to deal with! The format is excellent and both fun and educational at the same time. The first activity was a team activity to build a tower and the results were really impressive. The second activity involved building a ball out of lego and the third involved building a car and racing it. It was lovely to see all the children participating. We had great feedback from all those attending and lots of interest from the parents too. Highly recommended.” September 2015
From a mum of a student at the Cardiff centre
My daughter has just been moved up a set in Maths. We think this is at least partly due to Awesome Engineers, as we have seen her confidence increase so much over the past few weeks. Her maths teacher has noticed an improvement in her problem solving skills too. This is the first activity we have found that she gets really enthusiastic about, and it’s obviously doing her some good. January 2016

I wanted to say a particular thank you to the colleague who really got alongside my autistic child, and managed to make genuine contact with her, helping her to complete the first lego model of her entire life (she’s never quite grasped the bit of following the set of instructions through to getting the completed product before). It was a slightly emotional moment for those of us who know her well, and I really cannot thank you enough for persevering with making contact with her.
