Awesome Engineers

Just before Christmas we had a bitter-sweet moment when we bid farewell to our most Senior of Senior Assistants Connor Jackson. Connor has supported AE from its very first day at Garden Fields and has literally helped dozens and dozens (nobody could work exactly how many) Students get the most out of our Sessions over three years. He has also been a great help to me delivering Birthday Parties far and wide. We have experienced many adventures together.

So from Lucy and myself and all your colleagues and friends - thank you so much and Good Luck Connor and stay in touch! You NEVER grow out of LEGO!!!

Time flies, better late than never.....etc,etc. Maybe late but just wanted to wish all of our Students, Parents, Followers, supporters and AE collegues a Very Happy New Year! We have already started the fun, holding our first two Sessions of 2019.

Before I look too much ahead, just a glance back at the festivitives in the run up to Christmas. Emma, Lucy and I attended two Christmas Fayres - one at our "home" at Garden Fields and one at Park Street Infants. Thank you to all of you who dropped by to say hello - some new friends and old (figuratively speaking) faces, great to meet you all. The post photos show how busy we were at peak times, a creation or two and one gentlemen in a beard and red outfit who was certanly enjoying himself! One complaint though - every I am (I think) very good every year. Not perfect - true, but very good I think. And every year I get to wear the naughtly black hat at the insistance of my team. They obviously know something I dont!

We have some even more exciting things happening in 2019 (more in future posts and on our website ) but we are urgently looking for help to join our team to help us deliver the fun and learning. You do not have to be a rocket scientist (or any scientist) - just enjoy working with children and being part of a great team.

Lastly please do give us feedback. This means alot to Lucy and her team, and recommendations and Facebook posts are all very welcome and appreciated. If you also have ideas for improvement or new activities please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you!
