Run An Exciting Business In Your Community – Awesome Engineers are looking for licensees
Based on our successful track record of experience we are now offering Licensees the chance to operate Awesome Engineers in their local communities. So if you are looking for an exciting and rewarding business with low investment costs, flexibility and a good rate of return, are passionate about education and would like to harness the power of LEGO® and a child’s imagination then please talk to us. This is a really exciting and unique opportunity.
Working with Awesome Engineers
Our existing centres (and our future licensees) are always on the lookout for instructors and assistants to work at the centres.
We think that it is hard to find a more rewarding and fun job than helping children learn while building with LEGO®. If you think so too, why not consider working with us. Most roles are part time.
Assistant positions are suitable for students, retired people or anyone looking to fill a few hours a week working with children. (This looks great on a CV for anyone thinking of going into teaching). Pay rate is ‘Living Wage’ (see http://www.livingwage.org.uk/) not to be confused with the Government’s lower ‘National Living Wage’.
Instructors have more responsibility (and get paid more). You would ideally have experience of working with children (and possibly a current eDBS certificate) and an interest in Science and Maths (possibly with relevant qualifications). Suitable instructors include mums with engineering degrees, returning to work after a break for having children, part-time teachers, and STEM ambassadors. We don’t assume a high level of engineering knowledge as training is provided.
Lead Instructors have more responsibility again, looking after other instructors and often dealing with more than one centre. There is some admin requirement and the opportunity to gain management experience.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in working with us.
